What this policy covers

Mermaid Phone is operated by Laguna Foundry LLC. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies, browser storage, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies on mermaidphone.com and the Mermaid Phone web application.

Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies keep the site secure, remember your privacy choice, support authentication, prevent abuse, preserve an authenticated workflow, and complete billing or other actions you request. They cannot be switched off through the consent tool. The lf_consent cookie stores your privacy choice for up to 180 days on the current host. Authenticated account, security, native-app, and transaction technologies may use different retention periods described in the Privacy Policy or at the point of collection.

Functional technologies

With permission, functional technologies may remember an anonymous visitor's funnel progress, enable optional first-party chat or media, or preserve enhanced preferences. The anonymous mp-anon-session cookie and related browser storage remain off unless you choose this category. Authenticated account functions remain available as necessary service features. The third-party Advanced Setup booking calendar is not Functional and does not load with this choice.

Analytics technologies

With permission, analytics technologies may help us understand aggregate site use, diagnose performance, measure feature use, and improve Mermaid Phone. No analytics vendor is currently allowed to load before analytics permission.

Advertising and sale or sharing

With permission, marketing technologies may support advertising, remarketing, campaign attribution, or related measurement. This category includes the embedded Advanced Setup calendar supplied through HighLevel and LeadConnector because its provider stack can load LeadConnector attribution, Meta technologies, Google services, remote fonts, and booking analytics. The calendar and its form script remain completely off unless you allow Marketing. You may instead email help@mermaidphone.com to schedule without loading the embed. Mermaid Phone does not currently sell personal information. Advertising and sale or sharing technologies remain off by default.

Global Privacy Control

We recognize Global Privacy Control signals. When GPC is active, advertising and sale or sharing technologies stay off and the marketing choice cannot be overridden while the signal remains active.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use the persistent Your Privacy Choices control in the site footer to review categories at any time. Choose Reject non-essential in the preferences panel for withdrawal. Withdrawing applies to future activity, removes anonymous funnel storage, and clears known optional first-party cookies where technically possible. You can also clear cookies through your browser.

Consent records

We keep a minimized record of privacy choices for compliance. It includes a consent identifier, site and host, event type, selected categories and services, policy and configuration versions, source, server time, and GPC status. It excludes raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, page paths, queries, and referrers. These records are retained for up to 24 months.
